Challenge

This campaign was meant to research Tesla's current advertising and propose creative solutions to increase sales for the brand. The automotive and clean energy brand relies on word-of-mouth and the luxury aesthetic built around the popular automobiles.

Process

Tentpole events were researched in order to enhance the brand's almost nonexistent advertising strategies. Product placement was also chosen to promote the Model 3 to viewers of popular films so that the brand could be linked to the positive reviews of a movie like Spiderman: No Way Home.

Solution

Tesla being hosted by the South by Southwest event in Austin, Texas was a proposed idea for this campaign. The purpose of this was to place a Tesla Model S at the popular event, providing an interactive display to allow those in attendance of the event the opportunity to witness the innovative models first hand. 

Digital billboards were created to generate buzz around the upcoming event. The Model 3 was highlighted because of its affordability so that the brand could push the idea of a Tesla being the everyday choice for the common buyer.
